I found some extremely cheap international air fares to Mexico City from Detroit or Monterey with Expedia. They are boasting a 241 dollar price tag for the journey one-way. That is in every sense of the word a slamming deal. AeroMexico is offering the cheap airfare tickets to anyone that is able to book a round trip flight at least one day in advance. There are really no other stifling flight restrictions. Be aware that there are other charges because of random fuel and Homeland Security charges. You gotta love those.

AeroMexico won the “Best Airline in Mexico” in 2006 and 2007 from Business Travel Magazine. What that means for you if you choose to book some of these cheap air fares is that during flight you will receive complimentary food, drinks and in-flight entertainment (movie). Another thing to remember is that after departing Detroit a stop will be made in Monterey no matter if you are ending in Mexico City or not.  Another cool fact about AeroMexico is that they are very timely.
