Las Vegas Air Fares Change Drastically |

We used to be able to fly to Vegas relatively inexpensively and nonstop. Recently, our airline has added extra fees for every check in bag that you have. That may not sound like a big deal, but when you are a family of 5, it adds up quickly (too quickly). I have a brother who lives in a suburb of Las Vegas so it used to be nice for us to fly out and visit. Now we are checking around for other cheap air fares that are still nonstop. We have found that for our other air travel, that we can drive to a neighboring town for excellent cheap airfare tickets and not lose any quality in the flight. This worked out well when we flew to Albany, New York last year. I'd rather drive 45 minutes than have my children sit in an airport for 2 hours between flights. If you are comparing prices sometime and are looking for budget air fares, check out your neighboring towns too. You may be surprised.
