Cheap airfare tickets: the game has changed |

In the world of finding cheap air fares, things just got quite a bit more difficult--much more so in the last six months actually.
Due to greed that knows no bounds or limits, the petroleum companies and oil producing countries have pushed their products to world-record highs, and the airlines are in a jam. Quite simply, where before, the airlines were able to offer discounts on an almost regular basis, international air fares (or domestic) that were very fair and encouraging, they are now forced to fight for their survival, not simply to compete for budget air fares.
The sheer volume of cheap airfare tickets has dropped dramatically.
It appears that cheap airline tickets are going to continue to become scarcer, but they are not going to go away. Airlines are still offering cheap airline tickets to premier cities and countries--competition is still alive and well, it's just not as wide-ranging as it once was.
For instance, Las Vegas air fares, international air fares used to be available quite often. The airlines still offer deals; however, the sales volume has dropped quite a bit.
Having said that, it is still expedient to check often with the airlines and the discount ticket shops, as you never know when someone is going to offer cheap airline fares or cheap airfare tickets
So, as a discount traveler, remain tenacious: you need to stick with it. Cheap airfare tickets are still out there: the game has changed. |
