cheap air fares, las vegas air fares

Are the glory days of cheap air fares gone, gone, gone!?

Well, it looks like many of the traditional cheap air fares are quickly evaporating like a tiny puddle in a parking lot after a Las Vegas thunder storm.

But, does that mean that the days of budget air fares are gone forever? Not necessarily.

For instance, I was just checking a couple of days ago for cheap air fares to Las Vegas (Do you remember how cheap Las Vegas air fares used to be?), and I found I could get round trip tickets for about three hundred dollars--that's way cheaper than most airlines will fly for now, but it's because the airline I checked with must have some kind of arrangement with the casinos in Vegas to fly people there cheaply--it's the only thing those cheap air fares make sense.

In fact, sometimes you could get the round trip flights for under two hundred dollars! So, as long as there are businesses trying to attract clients, there will probably still be cheap airfare tickets to be purchased.

Remember the old saying from Field of Dreams, "If you build it, they will come." And, that certainly applies to cheap air fares that businesses build (and maybe subsidize?) to get people to their destinations!
