Jet Blue has made a name for themselves with cheap air fares and unique sale schemes. I think there newest ploy fits right into this category. Jet Blue is giving travelers the opportunity to upgrade their tickets to seats that have 34-38 inches in additional seating pitch aka leg room. I am 6’3 and can tell you that sitting anywhere other than the Bulkhead, exit rows or in the aisle seat is downright uncomfortable. Jet Blue must have taken the complaints of taller travelers to heart, leading to this sweet feature that won’t expire anytime soon.

The leg room upgrade won’t be available until next Tuesday, April1. It may be a good idea to find some budget air fares through Jet Blue and then spend a little extra on a more comfortable seat. Leg room upgrades are reportedly starting at an additional 10 dollars. This sweet feature will get even better later in the year when they extend the deal to seats that have even more leg room.
