I came across a Delta Airlines deal for people that live in the Big Apple or around the surrounding areas that must be booked by today. One-way tickets to Nantucket out of JFK are going for 80 dollars. It is fair to say after hearing national gas price headlines today that driving anywhere more than 100 miles away will cost about 80 dollars. Cheap air fares come up quickly. Book before midnight tonight and then complete travel by July 31 and you will see some great savings.

A round trip ticket purchase is necessary even though the price I quoted above is for one-way. JFK to Phoenix, where it was 106 degrees today will cost 280 dollars round trip. For a flight across the country, I think this is a good cheap airfare tickets deal.

When booking, note that you must stay at your destination for either three or more days or over a Saturday. I am not sure what the temperatures are like on the east coast but on the west it is hot.
